This is a tile-swap dog puzzle, not a classic interlocking jigsaw. The timer is off by default, and hints are unlimited. When the portrait is complete, six story moments become available; finish both sides to earn a gold paw stamp and a local completion card.

Jigsaw vs tiles, timers, and stories
Is this a jigsaw puzzle?
No. Paw Atlas uses a square-tile swap board to rebuild a dog portrait, then a six-moment story sequence. Pieces do not interlock like a jigsaw.
Can I play without a timer?
Yes. The portrait timer is off by default and can be enabled in Settings.
How hard are the puzzles?
Relaxed 3 × 3, Cozy 4 × 4, Clever 5 × 5, and Master 6 × 6. Start small and move up when you want more challenge.
