No personal data collected

No account, profile, tracking identifier, or app-owned server.

Photos remain local

Only the photo you select is imported and processed on your device.

You control sharing

Nothing is shared unless you deliberately open Apple’s share sheet.

The short version

Paw Atlas is designed to work without collecting data about you. The app does not contain analytics, advertising, social tracking, third-party crash reporting, or an app-owned network service.

Photos you choose

The My Dog feature uses Apple’s system photo picker. This lets you choose a specific image without giving Paw Atlas unrestricted access to your photo library.

The selected image is cropped and optimized on your device. Embedded metadata, including location data, is removed during import. The resulting image and thumbnail are saved locally in the app’s private storage and are never uploaded by Paw Atlas.

Local storage and deletion

Puzzle progress, favorites, settings, and personal puzzles are stored locally on your device. Paw Atlas does not provide an account or cloud synchronization.

Deleting a personal puzzle removes its saved image, thumbnail, and associated progress from the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data according to iOS behavior.

Sharing

Paw Atlas creates a completion card locally only after you choose to share. Apple’s system share sheet then shows the services available on your device. Paw Atlas does not choose a recipient or send the card in the background.

Any service you select from the share sheet handles the shared item under its own privacy practices.

App Store transactions

Optional in-app transactions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Paw Atlas reads verified entitlement status so it can unlock the correct features, but it does not receive or store your payment details.

Apple’s handling of transaction information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Diagnostics, analytics, and tracking

Paw Atlas does not include app analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking technology, or a third-party crash-reporting SDK. The app does not send app-owned diagnostic events to us.

Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store information and diagnostics that a user has chosen to share with Apple. That information is handled through Apple’s services, not collected directly by Paw Atlas.

Accessibility preferences

Paw Atlas supports VoiceOver-friendly puzzle actions, Larger Text, Reduced Motion, sufficient contrast, and state cues that do not rely on color alone. Timer, ambient sound, sound effects, and haptics can be adjusted separately in Settings.

Read the accessibility and privacy guide for a player-focused summary of those choices.

Children’s privacy

Paw Atlas is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. It is not presented as a service that requires personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this page and its updated date will change before the new practices take effect. A material change would also be reflected in the App Store privacy information.
